So maybe about...three times a day I visit my own blog and hit the 'Next Blog' button...... a lot of people HATE it .....I LOVE it! It takes me to a blog with similar topics/interests and generally the same audience as my future followers.
About 10 minutes ago it led me to Fashion Flux. I have never loved the color black more in my whole life. All black EVERYTHING *Jay-Z voice* lol.
No, seriously it's amazing...the girl who runs the blog, her friends/ associates....everyone is wearing black..(and variations of it-i saw some white and taupe too).
It's not the kind of black that makes you think..."uhh oohh here comes the crazy goth girl again" ....It's the kind of black that makes you think "oh my gosh who let Vera Wang or..Victoria Beckham in the room"..but your face can only do -> o_o ...O__O STARE. Her fashion is insane. I love it->> FashionFlux

*YAWN*
I'm tired!!
So my dentist's appt was SUPPOSED to be Monday but got pushed to Tuesday...So I made the blueberry muffins Tuesday morning and right as I set up the muffins in a container to take to the dentist I remembered "OH GOTTA TAKE PICS!!" .....and my camera DIED! How God AWFUL! (I probably have a reason to make blueberry muffins at least 2x a month so I'll have pictures eventually)
But Suzie (the receptionist) was TOO excited to have one and couldn't believe I really brought them. My dentist had one before I even sat in his chair and had me run down the intricate details of how the muffins were vegan. He suggested I become a vendor at a local farmers market. :)
I LOVE when people justify completely throwing off whatever diet they're on by saying "it's ok it's vegan"

New look
This blog looked utterly horrendous. I wanted to clean things up a bit BEFORE the new year but somehow the template editor was no working on my mom's computer...it's the strangest thing.
I just remembered I have to make blueberry muffins for my dentist appointment tomorrow :)..I'll probably make them LATE tonight or EARLY tomorrow...either way there will be pictures!!

I am VEGAN
Somehow on my blog I feel I have neglected to highlight pretty much the most important aspect of my life...Veganism! December 25, 2008 was my first meat free Christmas (but I went veg somewhere between Thanksgiving and then) so I think it's been 2 yrs and a month OFFICIALLY. But every vegan knows its so beyond just food.
I must admit, while I am an activist and a very proud vegan I don't see the need to bombard my every social network with vegan PREACHING. My family and most of my friends are not vegan, but they are aware that I AM and I make NO apologies for it. It gets so old when people overwork the topic of veganism.....like dough...no one will want it.
I like to approach it like this: I like cooking, makeup, fashion, baking and they happen to be Vegan
SO just in case you didn't know...this is the blog of a VEGAN :)

2011 is here, and I'm really excited. This year will be great because...there are no other options lol.
I plan on blogging more after contemplating getting a tumblr. I decided to give it a real effort and to make it easier for myself I followed a ton of really cool bloggers that share my interests. (DUH!) I go on twitter and facebook CONSTANTLY because there are a ton of people I have things in common with (no brainer).
Sooo I hope they follow me back and we have an amazing year of blogging together!!!!

Honeysuckle

Out of pure fun I always like looking at Pantone's color of the year. I liked the mimosa for 2009 but HATED turquoise of 2010. For 2011 the color is 18-2120 (Honeysuckle) and I LIKE it. Here's the article from Pantone's website 2011 Color of the year

When you can feel when those annoying pimples coming on, use this. I used it right before bed and woke up to a less sore, less visible pimple. I applied it underneath my makeup and within a day the pimple was gone. I like the roll-on applicator, and the tingly feeling when I apply the product.
